Help the team identify ambiguity in requirements: ensure the team has a full understanding of the requirements for which the task items are being estimated
Ensure all team members are represented and actively participating in the estimation process
Experience with various estimation tools and techniques. Understanding of and can provide examples of estimation approaches and relative sizing (e.g. ability to explain the Fibonacci scale and story pointing, relative estimation, planning poker, etc.)
