JScript is owned by Microsoft and used in one of the most popular web browser Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. JScript can also be called “Microsoft’s JavaScript”. JScript was the first release in 1996 being supported by Internet Explorer 3.0. The current version of Internet Explorer 9 supports JScript 9.0, and that’s the most recent version.
